Newport regatta

Newport Rowing Club's annual regatta was on the weekend of the 9th and 10th August this year.

As affiliates to the Hants & Dorset Amateur Rowing Association, Newport RC hold a successful regatta weekend which forms part of our competitive season. 

The weekend features a seniors event on the Saturday, with racing over a three lane, 1,450m straight course on the river. 

On the Sunday it is the turn of the the small boats and aspiring rowers from the junior ranks of the region’s clubs competing over 1000m.
